Our House Rules

**Payment Plan Policy**

To ensure a smooth training experience, we require all payments to be made according to the agreed-upon payment plan. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in the discontinuation of training services.​

​Please be aware that if training is paused due to non-payment, the handlers will be responsible for any impact on the dog’s progress. This may result in additional charges for resumed services. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Updated Policy: Last-Minute Cancellations and Rescheduling:​

We are pleased to offer complimentary in-person evaluations! To ensure the best experience for both you and your canine(s), please review the following guidelines regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and our expectations for commitment

For current and new incoming clients of Ruff Start K9 Training: If rescheduling an evaluation or any scheduled training session occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, a $65 fee will be charged (may be subject to terms*). This fee is in place to encourage clients to stay committed and avoid interfering with the progress of their canine's training. Payment must be made in order to continue training program.

Training Sessions: If rescheduling is necessary, it must be confirmed with a new date and time to ensure your canine's success. This helps us maintain continuity and avoid disrupting any progress made in the training.

If training is paused for longer than 3 weeks, we reserve the right to discontinue services. This policy is in place to ensure that we can dedicate our resources to clients who are fully invested in their training journey. Our passion for our canines drives us to work with owners who share that commitment​​​
Commitment and Communication Policy:
At Ruff Start K9 Training, we believe that commitment and consistent communication are essential for the success of the training process. If at any point we feel that commitment or communication is lacking and has not shown improvement, we reserve the right to discontinue services. It’s important that our clients are fully committed and willing to be physically and mentally involved in the training process to achieve the best possible outcomes for both you and your canine.

We Have the Right to Refuse Service:
Ruff Start K9 Training reserves the right to refuse service to any client that we do not feel is a good fit for our training programs. We strive to ensure that every client and canine receives the best care and training possible. If we determine that our methods or services may not align with your needs or expectations, we may choose to discontinue services at our discretion.

CANCELLATION/ REFUND POLICY
All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued after training is completed. It is guaranteed your fury friend will have a better understanding of obedience after our training programs. No canine is the same, so, they all learn at different paces due to countless circumstances (Breed, Age, Background History etc.) It is up to our professional trainers to communicate effectively about what to expect from your canine while working with them.

If you have any issues after training, we highly recommend reaching out for help. We understand that training a canine can be difficult & frustrating at times, and we are here to guide & assist even after training is completed.

**Proof of vaccination records are required for all services.**

​All rates are subject to change without notice. Quotes provided are valid for a period of 14 days from the date issued (in-person & e-mail). If enrollment is not completed within this timeframe, the quote may no longer be applicable.
